9th International Conference
Computer Data Analysis and Modeling:

Complex Stochastic Data and Systems

September, 7-11, 2010, Minsk, Belarus

The Conference will provide a forum for researchers and a discussion of the latest results in theory and software of data analysis, statistical modeling and computer simulation, stressing on Complex Stochastic Data and Systems, and define ways for further developments in this field. Young researchers will have the possibility to present their results and to get in contact with experienced scientists. The conference is organized by the Belarusian State University, Research Institute for Applied Problems of Mathematics and Informatics, the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian Statistical Association, and the Vienna University of Technology, Institute of Statistics and Probability Theory.

Types of presentations

plenary lectures (40 min), invited lectures (30 min), contributed lectures (20 min) including discussion, posters.

You have to prepare your presentation in .pdf or .ppt format (only MS PowerPoint 2003 or earlier version accepted). The title slide of the presentation has to include your name, title, and your organization details. In order to improve the work of the conference, the presentations can be sent be e-mail preliminarily (piatlitski@bsu.by).

Conference venue: Minsk is the capital of the Republic of Belarus. It is located in a picturesque place on the river Svisloch, which was in ancient times one of the busiest trade-route connecting the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea. Minsk is the city where one can find the best pieces of the Belarusian cultural heritage: museums and exhibitions, theatres, world famous Belarusian ballet, folklore dancing ensembles and choirs. Numerous scientific centers and leading institutions of higher education, located in Minsk, are famous abroad for their fundamental and applied research. Minsk is a cross-road of the most popular European tours. It is connected by motorways, railways and airlines with all the European capitals and also with the main cities of the world.

Social program:
Bus excursions, ballet and opera theatres, amateur music party, welcome party, etc.

Preliminary registration
should be made by sending the Preliminary Registration Form by e-mail.

Accommodation
The Organizing Committee is going to reserve accommodation for participants of the CDAM'2010 in the following Minsk hotels:

(****) "Minsk", about 10 minutes walk to the Conference site, prices about EUR 120-130 single room per night including breakfast;

(***) "Belarus", about 15 minutes walk to the Conference site, prices about EUR 45-80 single room per night including breakfast;

(***) "Oktyabrsky", about 5 minutes walk to the Conference site, prices about EUR 40-45 single room per night including breakfast;

(***) "Yubileynaya", about 15 minutes walk to the Conference site, prices about EUR 40-45 per single room per night including breakfast.

The Organizing Committee is going also to offer a limited number of rooms for economic accommodation in a hostel, with prices about EUR 12 - EUR 15, without breakfast, 10 minutes walk to the Conference site.

The payment is recommended to be made by participants individually directly to the hotels (by a credit card or by cash) after arrival.

In order to have preliminary information for accomodation, the Organizing Committee would like to ask you to inform us with your preferences about accommodation till April 1.

Submission of papers.
To prepare your paper the LaTeX word processor and the macros downloaded from http://www.cdam.bsu.by only must be used (download the sample file)! Also on that web site the guidelines are available. The paper, up to 4 full pages (up to 8 full pages for Invited Speakers) of A4 macros format, including text, figures, and references, should be sent by e-mail (for reviewing and for Proceedings). The Proceedings will be published by the BSU Publishing House, and will be distributed at the Registration Desk.

Special issue
Selected papers will be published as extended versions in a Special Issue of the Austrian Journal of Statistics.

Registration fee
is EUR 140 and covers publishing of the Proceedings, Conference materials, coffee breaks and social events. The reduced fee is EUR 70 (excluding the excursion and theatres) for participants from the CIS countries. Instructions on the payment will be available later.
